I would just like to say that the person asking for advice about an undocked Hungarian Vizla puppy was not given very helpful advice. Just telling her to go and look in Dogs today. Other posters are given numbers to ring.
I don't think Sams comments were very consructive either. Just because you don't agree with undocked dogs is no reason to treat people with contept.

If I had been aware of any telephone numbers for breeders who do not dock then the Guest would have been given them. As it is I have no idea where these breeders can be found. I do know that Dogs Today Magazine holds such a list ! Hence why the Guest was pointed in that direction.The Guest was not treated with contempt at all. Simply...that was the only answer available to me. Breeders who do not dock their puppies are welcome to register their kennel details with this site at ANY time. We look forward to hearing from them :-)

I can't see where anyone has been treated with contempt either, I gave this lady 3 contact numbers on the other site but she never acknowledged my message at all, she was also given a contact number by another poster, of someone called Rebecca who knows about undocked litters. Leigh can't give out numbers if she hasn't got them to give out can she?

I don't dock my dogs (not HV's), they are listed on this site and I have never noticed anyone treating me with contempt about it

My comment was dierected at the contents of DT, not at whether I agree with docking or not. I was under the impression that this was a free country where one could speak openly.

To the person wanting an un-docked dog. Rebecca Woodward runs the undocked dog site SPUD, she posts on Pedigreedogs.co.uk, so if the person wanting info goes there and leaves a message for Bec, I'm sure they will get an answer.
