Like with my dogs, my cats are fed 50 % raw. You cannot feed cats raw that has been frozen ONLY (that will kill off all the taurine), they have to have fresh meat as well, so I compromise by using 50 % raw frozen mince and 50 % canned food as it makes life easier. There is a good article on Natures Menu's website that explains about feeding cats raw, I always find it hard to locate but shall see if I can find it and give the link in a moment.
Mine all LOVE the mince but will ONLY eat the chicken mince, they won't touch any others at all. They will also happily eat raw meat but it has to be in quite small pieces for some of them to eat it. We tried using a mincer, that quickly broke down, so whenever we feed that way my husband has to sit down with lots of meat and cut it up with scissors. You can also give chicken wings and they love that but of course it can take a day or so for them to finish one so no dogs can be nearby as they will just steal it!
