Hi

Maisie, being a mainly black haired dog suffers with the recent hot weather.  Luckily we've got air conditioning and a fan but just to help (as well as putting ice cubes in the water and providing her with a paddling pool) I've been giving her and Billy the vegetable and fruit nuggets without defrosting them = they love 'em.  It boosts their vitamin intake whilst being a refreshing treat.

I have been giving my 2 a bone staight from the freezer. They love them and will lick them like an ice lolly until they defrost and are ready to gnaw

The frozen veg and fruit nuggets sound a great idea - can you get them at PAH?

And do they make a mess??

I have laminate flooring (which is steam cleaned once a week - no chemicals) so it isn't an issue but to be honest, they snaffle them down really fast.

Oh and yes - I got mine at Pets at Home - just the fruit and vegetable ones - they are a good supplement to the Naturediet/Jwb diet they are on.
