I don't know if there's a thread like this, but as a relative newbie, I thought I'd just introduce myself properly, so people can call me by my name if they want to, or you can call me whatever you like to be honest! I'm Joanne, and the sleeping lion bit, is from one of my girls who's pedigree name (or part of it) translates from Setswana, la la (pronounced laylay) and tau, rhymes with cow. I used to life in Botswana, hence a little knowledge of the language, and got to name her, so chose something I thought would be appropriate. Giddy lion might have been better, but unfortunately, I don't know that particular translation! I currently have the two dogs, but hope to add more, eventually, when/if I ever get round to this breeding malarky. My older girl, Indie has been spayed, she had a cruciate problem, but Tau is nearly all health checked, 0/0 hips and 0 elbows, genetically clear for pra and cnm, although I'm testing her cbp for pra, as her sire's results aren't on the KC database and I'd want them on any pedigrees of pups, and I'll be renewing her bva eye cert if I do go ahead. Anyway, that's me and my girls, so if you want to call me Joanne, or anything else, please feel free ;)
