My 9month lurcher always poops in the water when on the beach (just in the shallow bit) - makes it quite difficult to scoop - any ideas why??

No but very unhygenic and I wouldn't want kids to follow him in and get residue in their eyes. Can you walk him first before going on beach or keep him to top end until he has had a poo? I would imagine you could get in bother if people saw it and complained

I always scoop & it doesn't seem to matter if shes just been elsewhere or the time of day.
Mostly kids etc don't use this part of the beach it tends to be just dog walkers thankfully. 
It also only seems to be on this particular beach.
