hallo!ive been accepted by the britbarf site,and i wonder if anyone can help me,please?derek is very helpful so the problem must lie with me!(not very good on computer yet!)but all i seem to get is a series of emails,do they not have a forum like champdogs?(which I find nice and easy,thanks champdogs!)

You can have a look at files and posts etc here (http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/BritBarf/), but I generally only look at the e-mails sent through. If you want to find something in particular you can search through the files etc. But it certainly isn't a forum like CD.

As Pedlee has said it is a totally different formula than CD. There is a huge amount of information in the files which you can access through Pedlee's link. The main interaction between members takes the form of questions being asked and members replying with answers/their own experiences etc or pointing you in the right direction to find the informaton in the archives.

When you are a new member your posts take a bit longer to appear on the email lists as each and every post is checked and moderated to begin with - not for content but to make sure that replies are trimmed and relevant to the questions asked. Once you have been on the group for a bit and your  replies/questions are accepted immediately they appear straight away.

It is a very different format to most other groups/forums and takes a while to get used to but the information held on there is very informed and comprehensive and Derek (the group owner) has a huge breadth of knowledge and experience.

You've had more success than me then!  I applied months ago, sent in all the information they asked for, and have never heard back, even after querying.

I ended up emailing because it took so long,to show you how stupid I am,I was expecting a reply to my google address(cringe).
