I am cross posting this from a e-mail from a friend of mine.

Does anyone have a small litter of pups or a wet bitch? Friend of a friend's bitch has whelped 12 greyhound puppies however at 2 hours old the bitch has died. I dont know anything more than that not even location but i am sure people would help with travel.

Time is obviously of the essence so please mods if i have put something in here i should have forgive me, i have nothing to gain from this only trying to help someone not loose a litter as well as a bitch.

Location is in the Oxford Area.

5 puppies have been placed with another litter however there are another 7 who still havent even been able to get a first drink.

:( Askara thats terrible.  I'd have loved to have helped but my bitch's milk has almost dried up now.

I hope you have some joy trying to locate a Mum.  The owners must be distraught :(

I have another bitch in full blown phantom(stealing all the teddies!).. but no milk!

i would of loved to have helped you but im in newcastle my bitch has only had 2 and has plenty milk but distance is to far sorry

So sorry to hear, if you could get them here, we have 13 pups in two litters so could perhaps take on the extra for you...one litter whelped this afternoon...6 collies, only snag is we are in County Durham...think A1, we are 3 junctions north of Scotch Corner, between Durham and Sedgefield

i'll PM you the numbers you need to call.. depends on how desperate they get.

If help is still needed, i can't offer a bitch but can take a pup or two to help them hand rear until able to go back to the family for weaning.

I had a voicemail saying they managed to get a bitch/bitches for all of them!

Apparently it was all people who were total strangers offering to help from forums so thankyou to everyone who offered!

Aww thats great news :)  Losing their bitch was bad enough but to have lost the puppies too, doesn't bear thinking about.
