hi everyone,

this is QIM from bangladesh. About a month ago I bought a 2month old golden retriever puppy. She was skinny with a pot belly, i took her to a vet for her first vaccine. the vet gave her da vaccine n also worm medicine. She started having diarrhea the next day i gave her the worm med. after 3/4 days she got a little better but wouldn't eat much. after 10days when i gave her the second doz of worm med, she started having diarrhea again, this time within 24hr i gave her 100% pumpkin juice, n her diarrhea got better within another day. But she still wouldn't eat much, only couple of bite when she is really hungry, after that she just moves away from the food. i tried forcing her to eat but she wont eat more. she is very week more over very very skinny now. I really dont know what to do. i noticed she is having a breathing problem as well (her gum is pink). over here no other dog food is available apart from pedigree, i tryd feeding her that she wont even have a single pic of pedigree.so i feed her home made food, like cooked chicken n brown rice, cooked egg, ground beef with brown rice n little vegetable. I hate to see her like this, some one pls help me. pls advice how can i make her enough food, and gain a little weight.

What worming medication was she given?

You need to contact the breeder and ask their advice and also take her back to the veterinary surgeon and ask to have her bloods checked and take in a urine sample and get that checked.

A 8 week old golden should have a good appetite, there could be an underlying condition causing her lack of appetite which only a veterinary surgeon can diagnose, loosing weight is not normal.

Your puppy may have an infection and needs a course of antibiotics.

I have just re-read what you have written about your pup also having a breathing problem - you must take the pup to the veterinary surgeon as soon as possible.

vet visit as soon as possible... if you are feeding her a home cooked diet then she will also need additional supplements if they are not included. Sounds like a health issue :(
