My dogs coat has a lot of static in it and when you brush or comb it it just stand up any ideas.

Rub the coat with a tumble dryer sheet. Not sure what shampoos prevent/help static.

There are sprays you can buy for this purpose such as mink oil grooming spray.

I find get a spray bottle and put about a walnut size amount of conditioner in and fill up with water... give a good shake and lightly spray over the coat and comb through, helps to settle the coat.

I forgot about this... I love mink oil, its smells wonderful too :-)

I have been using Mr Groom coat & skin conditioner but just wondered, are these products allowed at champ shows? Regulation F(B)

The trouble with the mink oil it will make the coat soft which I don't want
