my bitch is 44 days pregnant and her top 4 teats have strated to come down but look red where they have dropped. she has been to the groomers today who said she thinks the teats are a little dry. is there anything i can put on the to help before pups are born?

a little vasaline, it could be dry milk have you tried bathing them with warm water ?

havent tried anything yet. will try vaseline tonight. thanks

tried vaseline but she just licked it off. i cleaned them and they seem less red today going back pink

Just re-apply the vaseline, not too thick, the worst it will do is make her motions a bit soft.

you could put a t shirt on her for half an hr to give it time to soak in.
