Hi all, My border collie bitch is due to whelp in two weeks and three days, the last time time I had a litter was thirteen years ago and I then fed kibble. For the last five years I have fed barf and I am wondering are there any do's or don'ts in feeding barf ie bones etc. when it comes to these last couple of weeks of gestation. Until now I have fed her as I normally would but would welcome any advice. I have had her scanned and there are definitely four puppies possibly five. She will be scanned again a week before her due date and so far she seems to be doing nicely. She still has the same excercise and her much loved swim in the river each day so she's very fit and active. Thank you for reading this post and as I have said I would welcome any advice.
