Not sure where to post this:

Our work has an internal 'internet' noticeboard and market where people advertise all sorts of things wanted and for sale.

An advert has appeared on there for pups from 'pedigree but non-kc parents', no mention of health tests, hip scores etc. I know that the person selling them has already sold previous litters (with difficulty) and I'm really concerned as it just stinks of someone in it for the money.

I've met the father of these pups who was very highly strung and barked constantly.

I've contacted the relevant dept. who say that they had discussed adverts such as these with trading standards and they did not have concerns but after I explained why health test etc. were needed, they promised to look into it.

Part of me feels like I'm really interfering here but just keep thinking about wee pups being churned out for money - any advice or comments would be welcome.

Have you actually asked the breeder what health tests have been carried out?

Not with this litter but the last litter had nothing done.
