I get my Royal Canin on the breeders program - you need to have at least 3 breeding dogs to register on it.
I get a 17kg bag for £36!

also zoo plus do the same for under 74.00 for two 15 kg bags. deliverly is free on all orders over 19.00 plus you get 5 % off with your first order and i got another code for 10 % when the order arrived.

I get mine on the breeders programme too. And my two sacks about 6 weeks ago cost me over £83! When they phoned me for another order, I made comment on how they were getting too expensive, the girl got quite shirty with me. And I've been a member for years.

I had the same response when I explained why my order was so much smaller now. They used to have regular offers, buy 2 get 1 half price and that made all the difference. they told me they had finished doing that to "keep the prices down" I'm sorry but that just doesn't seem to be true. Everyone I know no longer feeds RC to all their dogs, they just can't afford to and most of us are trying alternatives. Also their puppy packs are a huge disappointment now. I like to send my pups away with actual FOOD not a voucher which means me dipping into my own stock to advertise them. That said last year I ripped out all the free bag coupons and took them to Pets at home, exchanged them all for free bags and gave them to the new owners instead. Even the prizes at shows are vouchers sometimes....£10 off a bag. As you can't get anything at all for £10 or under it means you have to pay out for your "prize " yourself and the cost, even with the £10 off,was more than I would pay with the breeders club so utterly pointless in having. RC really need to do something or by the end of the year there will be nobody left.
Totally agree! I have been having regular calls from my local rep and when last speaking to her she said I could use my points (I believe the 20 you get per puppy registered) to 'buy' a small bag of food for each puppy - which sounded reasonable to me. I tried to do this online but couldn't find how to do it, so I had to phone and place order - losing my online bonus - and was then told that this 'offer' isn't available so my only other option was to buy another bag and divide it up to give to new owners. I did buy a plastic container for each puppy but it looked so unprofessional.
I have another litter due - much smaller breed so haven't gone direct to purchase any food as yet. I do feel that the puppy packs are now a total waste of time.
I have a really really fussy Golden Retriever and have tried different kinds of food but he does like Royal Canin. I keep searching for offers. At a local store they were £10 a bag for 3 kg which wasnt bad. Pets at Home had a Buy 1 get 1 Free Offer for one day only which unfortunately I missed....
I can see from what it does for my dog that its a really good feed. so I keep buying eventhough its sooooo expensive. I buy the one especially for Retrievers.

Totally agree with you. My toy breed puppies absolutely thrive on the mini junior, and I think they look great on it. However, I don't see it being much longer that I need to cut down.
I found a stand at Cruft's that does really tiny bites and have just mixed two thirds RC with one third of new brand. Will see how it goes. Pups are a bit young to try it yet, and I do feed half wet (Nature Diet puppy) and half dry. But it's day two and my bitch is eating the mix with RC and another well known brand, actually picking the other brand out. I will reserve judgement until I see condition, but, sadly, the time is nearing that I am going to have to cut costs.
I went in to just for pets (Used to be Wilsons) today and they have royal canin BOGOF on 3kg sacks so it works out as £15.49 for 6 KG
BUT ONLY. . . . . . . . .
Mini Junior
Med Junior
Large Junior

Instead of starting a new thread, I thought I would just add to this one. Lois, I received an email today from Pets at Home. Royal Canin is half price.
I rushed out in my lunch break and bought 6 of the 3kg bags of mini junior. At £7.30 a bag, it is cheaper than breeders prices direct. I asked how long it's on for, and the girl said 3rd August, so when I get paid at the end of the month, I shall go back for another 6. The date on the bags that I bought is December 2011, so worth stocking up!
Hi JeanSW, Thanks for that, i have been and stocked up! I should have enough to keep me going for a good few months.

If anyone has access to wholesale, I think I saved about £10 on a big bag of RC adult but sadly they didn't have the cocker specific or bigger bags of Sensible!
Its that time again, i am running low on royal canin.
Does anyone know of any BOGOF'S or half price deals?
Lois
Hi,
Ive bought a breed specific sack last week - 14Kg (equates to 12 plus 2Kg free) for £38.99 from Pet Planet. Included delivery as purchase over £29.
Good service - would buy from them again - if the price is right.
At £2.78 per killo - Im not complaining!
Do you know if it is on all bags?

Ideal world are doing 20% off Royal Canin
Hi
Not sure - take a look online. Some places also had the 12 plus two free offer a while back.
