
Pork can carry tapeworm, although from an earlier post on this forum, the majority felt that modern farming practices had pretty much stopped this from happening.
I don't bother with pork, simply because I get a very good supply of chicken and lamb, chicken imo are the best raw meaty bones to feed the majority of the time, as they have the best nutritional range, including omega 3. I also don't bother with either pork or beef as the bones can come from much older animals, meaning much harder denser bones that may wear down teeth that bit more quickly, particularly if fed regularly. Chicken is softer, and lamb, is (obviously) from a young animal. It also helps that both the chicken and lamb supplies I get are from a local factory/butchers, and are either cheap as chips, or free (my favourite price)!
