Has anyone used sainsburys pet ins and if so how did you find them, paying out, increase in prems etc.

Premium wise they were fine, and they have actually decreased my premiums this year which is pretty amazing! :-)

The policy was/is underwritten by AXA and it was the same as my AXA policy which was pretty good compared to others.

One of my puppy buyers has had it for years and they have paid out on everything needed even homepathic and hydrotherapy. Fast to pay too apparently

We use them for one of our dogs and after a price hike the first year its been fine. Always pay out quickly too, never had a problem really

All 4 of mine are covered by Sainsburys.  I've only had to claim for one of the dogs but claimed twice on him with absolutely no quibbles and received money quickly.  Each subsequent dog on the policy has been at a lower premium too so pro-ratering it out, it works out pretty reasonable too.

I have all mine covered with them after M&S rocketed.
Youngster had a knee op followed a few months later by a sock removal with complications with claims totalling about £2.5K and his premium went down this year!!!
Money always received promptly.
