Becksie was housetrained very early and only had a few accidents. However over the past week she has started to come in from the garden and then wee either in the lounge in front of us or in the hall. I can not think of any reason why she is doing this. She has never had to get up in the night for a wee so I know she can hold herself. Do you think she is just being naughty - I am not sure how to handle this problem.
Thanks
Linda

How old is she Linda? Is she in season or due in season?

Hi
No she is only 15 weeks - I have just read another problem today and there was a lot of advice there - I am probably worrying over nothing - perhaps I am expecting too much from her as she has been so good so far. Anyway any advice you can give would be appreciated.

If she is weeing a lot, is she just dribbling, if she is, it could be an urine infection, maybe try and get a sample and go to the vet to get her checked over, or it could be she is just excited at seeing you. Sometimes when they are teething ive noticed that they can "forget" to ask to go out. just clean the area with biological soap powder and cider vinegar, this could take away any smells on your carpet, or could she be smelling the underfelt of the carpet, as someone else pointed out on this board, this will be in the archives and if I remember rightly it was from someone looking for advice whether to carpet or use laminate flooring in the house.

Hi Irene thanks for your reply - she is teething at the moment so I hope that is it. Actually we went away for the weekend and since we have returned she has been brilliant - no accidents - actually cries at the back door. She also did this while we were away - our friends throught she was so clever. Anyway thanks again.
