Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / Folding my puppie's ears
- By guest [ca] Date 05.09.02 19:02 UTC
Hi, I have a 10 weeks old pup and both his ears are now standing. I do not like it very much and I was wondering what the bay way is to get the ears folded. I've heard about glue but I absolutely refuse to use it, as it may be hurtful for him. Would you have any suggestions?

What breed is he and why would you want his ears to "fold"?
If it is part of the breed description, he might need to get past teething before they will fold over.

Hi, i dont want ot start something, but you should leave your dogs ears alone. if acording to his breed standard his ears are meant to tip, or fold over, then that should be natural. if you have to manipulate them then i think that is the same as dying a dogs coat if it is the wrong colour for the breed!
my crossbreeds ears stood up when he was teething, and when he had finished they flopped over, as they are now, 2 years later.
