just bought a whole tripe(i mean the actual cows stomach or what ever it is anyway took me ages to clean it cut it up to put in freezer
what i,d like to know is as im trying with this and other raw meat to feed my young dog who i think will be better fed raw is do i need to add any thing like kibble or complete as i also want to feed gluton free

No, if you raw feed then you don't need to feed kibble or complete :)

but you do need to feed variety to provide the vitamins minerals and other nutrients

well i got a load of lamb hearts as well but will i need to give any vitamins?

You need to feed a variety of meats from a variety of species - beef, lamb, chicken, fish, tripe etc plus offal ( about 10-15% of the diet). I don't feed vegetables or any supplements but do ensure that my dogs have a good variety of meats. When first starting to feed liver and other offal I would advise that you feed small amounts to begin with as it can give some dogs dire rears until they are used to digesting it :-) My dogs can eat largish quantities at one go - sometimes their whole ration for the week - but they are used to liver and it doesn't have an adverse affect on them.
