Brilliant! I remember having a sofa that looked something like that after 3 munsterlander puppies had a game ;-)

Very funny, I had a boxer that ate a 3 piece suite and "killed " the feather cushions on it. When I walked in there were feathers hanging off the lights and curtain tops, in fact it looked as though it had been snowing. He had also dragged a very large plant out of it's pot and shaken earth, roots and leaves on top of the feathers - all in 1 hour. We sat on deck chairs for 2 weeks till we could afford a new suite in the sale.  God I loved that dog !!!!!

What else can you do but laugh, ok sometimes it verging on hysterics. Our youngest likes to rest his head on the bottom stair and cry when we are upstairs, then he started to suck the carpet. Now there is a large hole in th carpet, underlay and he has gone through to the boards and beyond, he was never left more than 15 minutes. I have tried putting horrid tasing things on it, just doesn't work so now he is not allowed near it.
Of course, it wasn't him but the bits of underlay in his beard were a give away.... As we are planning on moving my husband is at a loss for what to do, I suggested we have a stairlift installed and that will do away with the need for stairs, or carpet :)

Sorry, but I am really laughing at this one!  I just knew what was coming next!  :-)

My first Bearded Collie chewed all around the door frame, which I painted thickly with Colman's English Mustard.

She was drooling while licking it off, as if she had never enjoyed anything so much in her life!

Common theme going on here, I was told to paint the skirting board where he had started to nibble with mustard or chilli sauce, tried both, no effect what so ever, thankfully he has a cast iron tummy so that wasn't affected!!
Eventually he left the skirting board alone but that's when he  moved on to the stair carpet :(

I had 2 boxers, mother and daughter in the late 70,s (showing my age now) when I went out shopping for a couple of hours I came back to devastation. They had completely trashed a single bed ,only the springs remained, feathers everywhere from the pillows  and my hall carpet ripped straight down the middle.I could,nt of cut straighter myself with scissors.
That was the day I decided to buy a kennel to put them in when I went out.But boy did I love those girls, great fun and I got a new hall carpet out of it.
