It says in the recipe to use a jar of wheat germ .......... is this oil or seeds ? ......... have not found any in my supermarket . thanks

The wheatgerm I've seen is like a flour. Have you tried health food shops?

oh how dumb am i lol ....................... probably walked right past it yesterday , so is the flour ok to use in the stin balls  :0)

I make these regularly enough and sometimes if I havn't any wheatgerm i'll substitiute the wheatgerm for flaxseed.
It's very rich in omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin B which is wonderful for the coat :)
