Advice please on walking two dogs? When walking our two BH's on lead if I need to correct one, for instance for picking something up is it better to give the command to both dogs or name the dog concerned first. One is worse than the other.

teach the leave command to both then if you see something that you know they will be interested in give the command just before they reach it.

I walk 3 dogs together the oldest girl likes food wrappers (esp sayers) LOL if I see anything on route i say leave but to no specific dogs name ( but she knows who I mean ) just like when we get to a road I say 'wait' meaning  to all 3 .

Yep I do the same as Starryeyes :) I give the 'Leave' command before we reach something that I know at least one of them will want to grab!!!  And when we come to a kerb and I want them to wait, I give the command 'hop up' and they all know to stop and wait!

I find if I am walking two of my dogs, I have a lead in each hand so that I have control over both equally, if I walk 3 of my dogs together I put the two 'well behaved' ones on a double lead and the 'not so good' one on the other hand!! :)

Yes do the same, one in each hand, they're pretty good with the 'leave' command and I do as you both in that I try to anticipate any rubbish ahead. I used to joke that I would get them a yellow jacket and contract from the council for street cleaning. I guess it goes with the joys of hounds in that they will pick up 'anything' and I seem to spend the entire walk surveying the pavement ahead, saying 'leave' or 'drop it'. When walked alone not so much of a problem, but together it almost becomes a game as in who can pick up something first.
