I live in Chiswick,West London and have alot of spare time on my hands. Does anyone know of a charity or dog home near by so i can offer my help. I know we have Batersea, but it is too far away.

I have my own 2 dogs which i do not want ot leave the whole day so if anyone needs help near by i would be happy to offer my help part time.

I would be grateful if someone can point me in the right direction

This is an excellent organisation that helps people and their animals and is looking for volunteers.
