Hi everybody.... my bitch is on day 56, she is a small breed (not toy), for the last couple of days I have seen quite a bit of mucous coming out of her.  I tend to wipe it off when i see it (as it kind of hangs.....nice!), but i have noticed she is getting a bit sticky down there, I think she is having a bit of trouble getting to the area to clean herself.  Should i do more to clean or should i be leaving her too it......

if she carnt get to it herslf clean it for her ,i would! just warm water and make sure you dry her ,she could go early from day 58 so she will want to be clean down there and her nipples too, ive checked my girls dates i thought she went 3 days early but it wasnt she was 5 days early ,large breed but only 3 pups .

I use unperfumed hypoallergenic cloth baby wipes

my girl was like this i kept having to wipe it of i used a bit of salt in luke warm water and cotton wool, but as it started getting nearer the time she started excessivly cleaning her self one minute i saw it then half an hour later it was gone, my girl went dot on 63 days from first mating i thought she would of come early as she's a toy breed but she didnt so you can never really know x
