I want to convert old home videos to dvds. No lomger have a vcr so cant do it with leads. Does anyone know what you call the machine that does it. Sometimes you see them advertised in newspapers.
Thanks

I've got a dual VCR/DVD player/recorder that does it at the touch of a button, perhaps a search for something 2nd hand might solve the problem

Okay
So I went to Maplins and the gut talked me into buying a Video Grabber which basically copies videos to PC then you transfer them onto DVD. I have saved one on my PC but cannot get it to copy to DVD. My laptop is DVD+ which I did not realise at the time. So does this mean I can only copy files to a DVD+ and if so then it would be unlikely to play on a bog standard dvd player which are usually DVD-.Just phoned Maplins and basically said DVD+ are usually just for data. Grrr how am I supposed too get these tapes copied :-(
If I found someone with a DVD-on his PC would it work. Help please
