hello, newbie here,
my 19week old english has been on raw diet for 5 days, seemingly loving it and has gained weight already.
he only has two small poos a day, which is incredible as they were hourly on dried food.
question is, what is usual?  he doesnt appear consitpated, very lively, and eating well. i know there is change with every diet, just looking for input.

One of mine poops three times a day, the other twice a day, on raw food.  They produce so much less waste than on commercial foods, and it doesn't smell half as bad either!  The firm poo will help clear his anal glands out as it passes, and you may find he needs to drink less water, as there is a higher moisture content in raw than in kibble (obviously).

I fed raw and mine (one pup and 3 adults) would all poo twice a day, nt a large amount and not offensive (if you can describe poo like that!! :) ) As long as you are not feeding too much bone then I would be happy that the pup is thriving and putting on weight.
With complete or cheaper foods (generalising here) they are often filled full of additives, a bit like our junk food.
