Hi all

My bitch is day 58 today and is huge, bless her.

We are having all the right signs that preparation for whelping is underway...I found her 'nest' outside in the shed which she has even filled with straw! Her lovely whelping bed is ready and she is in there intermittently (I have locked the shed so she can't sneak off into there!). She had diarrhoea yesterday, is looking at her back end (although can't reach it!) and has most certainly 'dropped' her belly, Temp is steady at 37.4 - 37.7.

My query is ...all she will eat is boiled eggs.....how many is too many?

bless she must stink with wind lol....thats a hard 1 (no pun intended)lol ...after 1 of my girls whelped she would only eat scrambled eggs she was a med breed she had 6 eggs thoughout the day but she had cheese with it and chicken ,thank god this only lasted 2days ,good luck sounds like she could be having her babies in the next couple of days x

My bitch went through a stage of only eating scrambled eggs too, 3 in a morning and 3 at night. While she's happy to eat them I'd let her... something is better than nothing
