Hi everyone.
Does anyone know of a scanner in the bristol area? i have tried all my local vets who have scanners but none of them can fit her til til the middle of next week at the earliest, she was 7 weeks pregnant yesterday. she started to lose a small amount of mucous yesterday which had a bit of a green tinge to it, my vet wasnt willing to give her antibiotics as it was just a small amount and seems to have stopped now, but im quite conserned and would like to check everything is ok. Shes fine in herself, off her food slightly but she had been like that for a couple of weeks. Im just so worried now any help would be great.

hi pepsi1 ...this has happend to us about 3years ago ,we had a scan done with our girl and it shown nothing but our vet did give AB's and she was fine after ...like you i only saw a small tinge and only once but was worried ,if you are still worried id ring your vet and tell them you want AB's for her ,they carnt say no your the 1 paying...good luck x

Thanks for the reply, its such a worry isnt it. She seems absolutly fine in herself its just me worrying. I will give my vet another ring. xx

yes it is a worry :( ...but if she seems fine maybe she dont need any? but if your anything like me ,i like to be safe than sorry and AB's at this stag not hurt pups as long as their right ones :) xx

Thank you so much, i will have a chat with my vet. Im still hoping i can get a scan done, just to put my mind at rest but no where seems to be able to fit her in. x

Rowe Vets at Bradley Stoke have a scanner, you can usually get a same day appointment there.
