I have an 18 month old retriever bitch, who is a very very fussy eater!  Since i had her at 8 weeks she has always had Nature Diet meat and J.W. Biscuits, but for the last 4-5 months she has become so fussy!  I have to keep telling her to come to her bowl, but still she walks away.  I have tried her on 1 meal a day, incase she wasnt a breakfast dog, but still she doesnt seem interested!  I gave her a bowl of sardines in Tomato sauce this morning (didnt have any in oil) and she ate them as if she hadnt eaten in a week?  CAN ANYONE HELP ME PLEEAASSE!!!

Put her food down, walk away and then leave her to it. If she hasn't finished her food within 15 minutes pick the bowl up and don't feed her anything until her next meal is due. No healthy dog will starve itself but a clever dog can easily teach it's owners how to make them fussy eaters :-)

There is another current thread on here about fussy eating - have a look at the replies on there which should help you out :-)
