Topic Dog Boards / General / size of puppies paws

My daughters friend has a 9 week old staffie puppy. His front paws seem much bigger than his back paws and the pads on one of his front paws seem bigger too. He has had his first injection so I assume the vet would have checked him over. I haven't seen this before and wondered if anyone else has.

Front paws usually are bigger than the back paws, I'd imagine it's because a dog carries more weight on it's front legs than it's back legs.

Not sure about the size difference of pads, but just as us humans are different sizes on one side compared to the other, I expect it's the same for dogs.
