One of my pups has been straining a few times today. I gave them chicken wings yesterday so they may have caused her constipation. Any ideas as to what I could feed to 'help things along'?

Is it possible a bone has caused a blockage?

I normally give some sort of oil like salmon or sunflower to help. One of my males gets constipated if he has too many chicken wings so I always put salmon oil over the top of them.

I know people who swear by giving a tin of Pedigree to loosen them up.............never tried it myself but god I know it would work with my dogs!!!

I don't think its a blockage, she's absolutely fine in every other way. Often bone can cause constipation - I've just never had it with one so young. I'm giving her the sunflower oil off the tuna, that should help. Thanks :)
