Hi it is day 65  on 1st mate day 63 2nd mate and day 61 3rd mate she is very quite and sleeping alot she had a little bit of her tea no other signs yet my question is should l stay up with her tonight or can l go to bed her temp this morning was 37.4 she seems to want to sleep and just rest any ideas  do you think it will be soon

I always think its wise to stay with them during the last week of pregnancy, even if it means sleeping on the settee

Agree with Tanya.  I wouldn't be leaving her.

i to agree ,i wouldnt leave my girl ,i sleep on the soffa from day 58 lol ...try taking her temp 3 times aday now at the same time you should see the drop then you will know ...good luck!

Hi l have just taken her   temp it was 36.6 is that normal she is wondering around the house ok under no stress just tired  lam just worried as it is my first whelp  l have read alot but still very nervous

You will be fine, have your vets number to hand and a taxi number if you have nobody to drive you.

well sounds like it could be in the next 24h ...once you get a drop and it stays down (check again in 1hour) it indecates the start of things but that dont mean pups will come tonight (im not saying thay not tho lol) your girl could just start contrating not all go by the book ;) 1 of mine didnt ....she didnt pant till her 1st pup was 5mins away from being born she didnt nest at all she just slept ...good luck ,im hoping to be where you are in 6weeks time :) ...keep us posted x

I think I'd stay with her. I can imagine how you're feeling. I'll never forget our 1st litter. My girl panted & scratched for hours, then decided to have a nap. I told everyone I was fine, so they went out & my girl started to push 10 minutes later! Good luck. Hopefully news in the morning :)
