My name is Cheryl, and we are looking for a schnauzer puppy to join our family; myself, my husband Paul, our 13 year old son Jason and our 4 year old cat, Teegan! We live on Galleywood Common, Galleywood, just outside Chelmsford.

We have been considering adding a dog to our family for sometime, but were unsure as to which breed we preferred. However, having fallen in love with Schnauzers, this is the breed we have decided on.

I wonder whether you could provide any information to assist us - we are not concerned as to its pedigree - we are just looking for a happy addition to our family!

Just out of interest what size are you after??????

I have a mini, but you can also get standard and giant ones. (bet you knew that):)

If its a mini you are after get a list of breeders with pups from the kennel club, and prepare for a long wait. I have never seen so many requests for a particular breed of dog before.
