Hi guys,
           does anyone know of a good monthly cooking/recipe/food mag? My mother loves to cook and it's pretty much the only joy she takes from life so I thought a subscription to some sort of cooking mag would be a nice mothers day gift for her but I have no idea where to start! My OH's Dad says the BBC good food mag is great, any other recommendations?

Sorry - I only cook from necessity so have no idea about food magazines :-)

Thanks for that Springador, it's a good sign if you subscribed ages ago and are still getting it, shows it doesn't get boring! I think the BBC food one does look quite good.
A subscription is the perfect prezzie for me to get my mother because she goes to Spain every year for 6 months and the British mags cost a bit more to buy out there and as she gets her mail forwarded to her out there she can still get her magazine and remember me!

I like the magazine, ive had it for a couple of years now and always find something interesting in it to try out. Some items get repeated but i supose when your reading every issue thier going to be. My hubby says the same about The Shooting gazette.

I think its worth the money and if your mom is a foodie like myself she will enjoy it.

I subscibe to 'delicious', lots of good reciepes but i would do them all if i had the time to cook everything! I love cookery books and mags.
