Ellis has epilepsy and fits around once every 5 weeks.  Now, Sunday just gone he had 2 fits at 5am, the second followed about 15 minutes after the first.  During his first fit he was in his bed in our bedroom and as I sat with him I noticed that there seemed to be flashes of light from underneath him.  I made an assumption that it was just my eyes playing tricks, however, this morning when we got up, the room was dark and I noticed that as he got up and walked out of his bed his feet lit up in turn.

Has anyone ever experienced this before?  Do you think its because of his epilepsy, or could it just be static off of his bed?  I have never seen this before with him, so it is very odd.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
