I have a bitch that has phantoms. She usually carries on until pretty much when they would have been born. I try to speed up the process by getting her back into a normal routine asap. I don't leave toys lying around she may think are 'puppies' and I also up her exercise. Some bitches go the whole hog and swell up like a balloon and heave and strain like they really have pups. Thank goodness she doesn't go this far. It will sort itself out soon, don't fuss her too much, treat her like a non pregnant dog and hopefully soon she realise shes not one.
Sorry she missed, seems to be a lot of this going round at the moment ( and all to decent breeders) :(

It sounds mean, but you need to take the toy away, don't let her nest with anything else, and slightly reduce food and increase exercise. Try some new training perhaps to take her mind off things. My bitch has phantoms, though she doesn't nest thank goodness, she just produces milk for a few weeks!
