Had a huge shock yesterday, was walking the dogs in the lanes when my neighbours dog Moll came running after us, she's big friends with my younger dog Vic and she's a latch key type so often follows us on our walks. Moll is normally super friendly but yesterday she jumped on my old Missy and had a good go of pulling her head off, it took me a moment to realize she meant business and wasn't just waving her teeth about. Vic just stood there wagging his tail and looking dopey thankfully so I let go of him and separated the bitches, as soon as I did Moll rolled over like butter wouldn't melt and the neighbour arrived then to see what the noise was about and took her home. My dog has got two puncture wounds in her chin now, I called the vet yesterday and he said to bathe them four times a day in salt water and to keep the big one open so it can ooze, but I'm going to take her tomorrow anyway I think otherwise I'll just be worrying.
I don't know if Moll got any wounds because I havn't seen next door since.

aww hope she feels better soon. i hate it when dogs lay into each other, it makes me feel sick and go weak at the knees. hugs to you both x
