It started about half an hour ago and its the fine stuff with a bit of wind behind it so far its sticking. Now the big questioon is do I go to slimming world for my weigh in or stay home and eart cheesey pasta for tea --- energy food of course you understand in case I have to dig a way out to get to work tomorrow.
Got it here in Manchester. Has been snowing heavily for a few hours but only in the last hour has it been sticking. Got ringcraft later, so will have to see if it continues and if it's safe enough to do the classes tonight.
you can keep it up there an all.im down in essex and as far as i know we arnt due any snow but after the last spell of it just the word gets me searchin the weather stations to make sure lol.its lovely but it causes chaos in my house.x
Only fine again now so hopefully it won't be too bad tonight. We had it here on Sunday, was shocked to wake up to a blanket of snow as it hadn't been forecast. Rained yesterday and some of today. Oh well off to drive home in it now, getting used to driving in snow after the last 2 months.
We've had a light dusting, (Dumfries & Galloway) heavy snow forecast though - Poor wee Maddi I clipped her last week because I thought it was all over, she'll be feeling the chill bless her!
Look like someone has sprinkled glitter around up here (not far form Durham) driving back home at teatime lots of small, fluffy flakes, and the pavements were totally white, but at home not a complete cover, but my back garden is sparkling, even in the dark! Irridescent snow anyone?
well i know we're not forcast it and as it only snows here really well every 8-15 years i know im safe from the white stuff so can sit and enjoy my curry without the worry.lol
actually thinkin about it i did wake up one morning last week with snow on the ground and like someone said it wasnt forcast :-o
It's been coming down pretty heavily here again tonight too (South Queensferry just outside Edinburgh). The garden is totally blanketed again. I've had enough snow and ice for one year, we live on a shooting estate and the house sits on a track at the bottom of a hill which the 4x4 was struggling to get up when it was bad a few weeks ago and then there's another mile of winding single track estate road to negotiate until we hit the main road. Joy!
