all of you CDers in Scotland ie:Perthsire, what is the weather forecast , a relative travelling up there on Friday for the weekend...heard it was snowing again how bad is it?????

Don't know about Perth but I don't have any snow here near Brechin/Forfar. Snow was falling round Edinburgh earlier, and north near my daughter (who is snowed in again ;-) )Rain is forecast for the weekend, but who knows?

It is sunny, cold & dry so far.  We've seen no snow since the lot that fell over Christmas & NY.  I live 13 miles from Perth so the weather won't be terribly different.   Scotland is a big place!  ;-)    Although the weathermen just give a blanket report.

Im in midlothian and although we had snow during the night and this morning the roads are all clear.

I drove from Edinburgh to Perth this morning, it was snowing quite hard in Edinburgh when I left at 07.00hrs got to Perth and there was no snow at all there. I drove back from Perth this afternoon & there's now virtually no snow to speak of either here in Edinburgh or Perth. :)

I live near the Forth Road Bridge (on the Edinburgh side) and we have about two inches of snow just now, most of it has stuck from this morning.

We had some snow in Fife yesterday but it didn't last long. OH is in Dunkeld area and says its OK there but absolutely freezing! Snow gates were shut at Spittal of Glenshee but that's further north east and A9 seems to be OK. I would stick to the bottom road into Aberfeldy though, not go over the hill road!

Had about an inch here in Perth last night the roads all seem to be clear.

My OH and friend flew from Bristol to Scotland (Edinburgh) a couple of weekends ago, when the snow was quite bad there, but all the roads were passable, they picked up friends pup then drove home in a hire car which took 7 hours, other than road works nothing major to report even with the bad weather.
