Topic Dog Boards / General / So proud of my boy .......

I did a 6K bikejoring event this morning down in Dorset and am so chuffed with Fagan, he was really up for it, so much that he had to be held back at the start line then he really went for it all the way round, in fact it was me holding him back on the big hills.  The only time he let me down was when he stopped for a drink in a big muddy puddle ..... I lost momentum and fell off ;)

Fagan is my dog who back in April was operated on for gastric torsion (he had a full twist) it was touch and go if he would make it, then as a result of surgery he suffered fluid on his lungs for which he was put on long term steroids which made him really poorly.

I just cant believe how far he has come since April .... it has really made me appreciate him so much more.
