Two kids who have gone every year and a husband who has never been to Crufts.

Sunday for me .. just my veteran girl entered and I have promised a very novice junior handler that he can show her as his own qualified dog can't be shown due to dock dogs rule.
This will be her last Crufts, she is 9yrs old and next year regardless of how well she looks she will stay home as its far too long a day for an old lady. My other qualified youngsters can't be entered due to their docked tails, and neither can those bred by me in other ownership , so my last ever Crufts as a breeder / exhibitor.

Jack will be there on Thursday for bernese as he is picking up our new italian bernese import that day after the show and I will be showing the poodle on Sunday.

Friday! But I will take only myself and I doubt I'll win any prizes on looks ;).
I'll be there sunday with 2 of my Goldens. 1 in junior bitch and my boy in post grad dog! Could have brought 3 but the thought of dealing with 3 dogs on the day was too much! Hubby and possibly 1 of my boys coming too! He eats his packed lunch by 9am and is ready for the off by 9.30 so might prefer a day at nannies!!
Good luck everyone!

I'm there Thursaday and Friday, both days spectating!
I'm flying down again, so no hassle!!
Good luck to everybody who is showing.

We'll be there on Saturday with our Dal boy...our first ever show dog...plus 2 kids
His breeder has been in our breed for 14 years but this was her first litter....she has 4 from this litter at Crufts this year....She will be the one crying with joy by our ring!! LOL :-)
Good Luck to you all.

I`ll be there Thursday showing (eeek) , Friday, Saturday and probably Sunday as well on the Discover Dogs stand.

Saturday for us with our chowchow boy
After going as a spectator for more years than I care to remember, this year will be my first time as an exhibitor. Makes it even more special that the two dogs I've got qualified were from my very first litter.

I'll be there on the Thursday, dog in Limit and bitch in Post Grad. We've got a foreign judge this year, will be very interested to see what he does as he judged my breed at the World Show in Sweden. Also manning Discover Dogs stand all day on the Saturday, I might regret that decision!!!

OMG it sounds close put like that!! My boy's first Veteran Crufts, and he's in GC too. Hoping for any place in either class cos he's been 5 years and been placed every year. :-)

Im showing my dog there for the first time so very, very excited!! Hes my first rottie and first show dog so im very proud to have qualified (for life :-)) for Crufts so cannot wait!!
All is sorted, and theres a big gang of us coming over from Ireland and we are staying for a few days so should be great.
Have been the last 2 years as a spectator so will be nice to actually be showing this time.
> Hes my first rottie and first show dog so im very proud to have qualified (for life )

I been thinking about crufts all week, i cant wait :) I will be there on Friday got my girl in two classes. i love the whole thing, all the stalls and so much going on, its great. my family wont be coming as they dont see it as a big thing , pitty we dog show lovers dont always get the soport we should from family. but thats what are dog showing friends are for :) now what to wear?????

I'm there on the SUnday with Calida, just hoping that I can get her to calm down.
Just taking one of my own (rottie), but handling several others, although may be interesting when my bitch is in open bitch and the dog I'm handing is in open dog, I hope the classes don't clash!!! ;-) cos that could be fun!! lol
FIFI...........HOPE THE POODLES ARE ON SATURDAY AS I HAVE BOOKED TRAIN FOR SATURDAY AND PAID IN ADVANCE FOR MY CRUFTS TICKETS............

Sorry, yes poodles are on Saturday :) Don't know what I was thinking!

Is it 40 days (and 40 nights) to go now?
> Friday! But I will take only myself and I doubt I'll win any prizes on looks ;-).
Come and see me with the elkies, promise none will bite you ;) My surname begins with B so will be easy to find somewhere at the beginning of the rows of the breed.

Saturday (I think)......5 Cavaliers - both males and females - ranging from S Puppy to Open B.
Guess who's going to be a busy girl with 2 rings/judges?
Last year they had to hold the Bitch ticket for me as I was still in Limit dog.....stress!!!
> Saturday (I think)......
:-) Toolz it is Saturday, I don't envy you the two rings, Papillon people keep asking for two judges but
got to admit I prefer one judge one ring. Makes the day go easier with so much less stress for both
the exhibitor and spectator.
By tooolz
Date 30.01.10 16:35 UTC
I was in Limit in both rings at Manchester and the stewards were kind....not always the case!
Sp puppy dog and bitch at Crufts....now work that one out!!

You should be ok, they usually stagger the starts for half an hour !!
By tooolz
Date 30.01.10 20:59 UTC
....problem with Cavaliers is there will be 30 odd in SPB and about 18-20 in SPD which, if it goes by every other staggered-time last year, brings them in approx together.
We just get used to the stress :-(

Never understood the thinking behind the staggered starts when they split the sexes to two rings.
The chances of an exhibitor with both sexes having a clash are still likely as how many are going to have two opposite sex of same age, more likely different ages, or if two same ages different numbers in classes as you say.

I'm there on Sunday with my flattie - just in junior still. Last time (and only time) I showed at Crufts was 17 years ago - can't wait!! Not sure if any of my family will come - they're all a bit laid back about the showing business - although if he can get a few more 1st places at champ shows this year they might realise he's got potential...!

il be there on sunday in the ykc grooming ring competeing for ykc groomer of the year....

Going with 1 Leo girl, thursday :)
We have just cut the toe hairs...
She is likely to be in season anyway... But we live in hope and are toe-ready to go :)

We are going on the Thursday, with O.H and my 2 children.OH half normally shows the woos but I think I will give it a go this year as he doesn't want to show the 'peskie Eskies ' :)
