a lady who bought a pup from me 2 years ago has bred the bitch (against advice very popular breed) she is due to whelp in 9 days (4th feb) from 1st tie i have helped her throughout offering advice and i gave her tbotb and have said i will be there to help deliver anyway "normal" temp for her is 98 last night it went up to 100 then back to normal she has been going into her whelping box of her own accord and was panting and looking at her bum alot and just acting weird as the lady put it  i told her tht her girls temp will rise before it drops and when this happens whelping is iminent but as she is at least 9 days early pups probably wont survive if she goes this early. her girl has calmed down but her temp has gone up again to 99.69 i was just wondering does this sound to anyone else like she may whelp early as my girl had a textbook whelping so never experienced this myself but to me these all look like signs she will whelp soon i have told her to take her temp 3 times a day and to ring me asap if her temp drops and stays dropped any help appreciated
