Anyone else having trouble with foxes ? Every year we have a den at the bottom of one of neighours garden which backs on to us atm the screeches and yells are just about most of the day and  evening. Now I can ignore it but my already noisey pomx cant and its become an absolute nightmare if I let her out she disappears round the back of the shed most times and recall ? whats that ? If I keep her in she is starting to bark indoors , just when i thought my training was going well.
Oh yes and phweee does the end of the garden stink no wonder the dogs are attracted. I wish they would get the mating rituals or whatever over with I am thinking of ringing one of the fox rescus charity and see if they can help,

Thanks for thatits interesting reading. I would have thought that with a large gsd charging up the garden towards their area and a small excorcet missile screaming like a banshee that would have been nosie deterrant enough. I think my problem is that it doesn't bother others as either they dont notice the smell and there is only one other dog in our road so its only me who doesn't want my dog barking all the time and then upsetting the neighbours ironic when I consider the nosie the foxes make.
I know my neigbours have moaned about stepping in fox poo but thats about it. maybe I shall have to keep at the training and wait until the months pass

Perhaps you are being too conscientious - worrying that when your dogs bark it upsets the neighbours.   Foxes make a lot of noise, at all hours of the night, if they do not hear that perhaps they do not hear your dogs either - just a thought.
