I don't have any idea but re-bumping to the top for you.

Someone must have a thought on these or similar type pants??

DONT DO IT!!!!

I tried some on, one time, in order to see if they changed my " sillouhette" (sp??) .....I thought I was going to have to go to my own funeral in 'em!!  Took ages to get them on, and seeming even longer to get  them off - thought I would have to pay for the blessed things! :d

hadn't heard of them, but they look very similar to some that I've just tried from figleaves.

http://www.figleaves.com/uk/product.asp?product=figleaves-shapewear-Seamfree-Shapewear-firm-control-high-waisted-thigh-slimmer&product_id=FIG-FB094106&size=&colour=Black

I was amazed with these ones, as when I tried them on they didn't feel like they were doing anything, but once I put my jeans on  my 'muffin top' <shudders> had disappeared :-)  They're really comfy, don't roll down, and half the price of Gok's (and there's an offer on them at the mo).  They're not boned to the waist like the Gok ones though.

Sorry, not really answering your question, but I thought it was better than nothing!!

Yep got a set of Big Pants and shillotte thing great, Ive lost nearly 4 stone now but I have a loose tummy, looks fab with a dress, does take a bit of getting used to but buy the right size and it does look good!!!!

I've got Gok Wans, they do work slightly but it does tend to roll down slightly. After 5 mins getting used to them they are quite comfy though and  have never had an issue getting them on or off. I definately see and feel a difference when wearing them.

The best 'hold it all in pants' I've found are from Asda!!

The ones I love are cycling short style, so everything from mid thigh to above the belly button gets squashed. They work really well under a slinky dress, as they give you a much smoother silhouette, and also hide that lovely lumpy bumpy cellulite :-D

I think I paid around £5 for mine -I also have a pair in thong style which just hold my tummy in a bit.

I have always used Spanx but bought Gok's to try as I needed new ones and had a discount code to use. I sent them back because they're not nearly as good or comfortable as Spanx. They really smooth out the lumps and bumps. They're not cheap but definately worth the extra, IMO.

Did you buy the size you are or are they on the big or small size?

Diane
- By Paula20380 [gb] Date 12.01.10 13:13 UTC
I bought the size I am and also had the shorts ones that run from above knee to just below your bust!!!!

I have several pairs of these things and wear none. Don't know what I am doing wrong but I find them all really uncomfortable. I feel like some 18 century woman squeezed into a corset and sitting down is awful.
I am buying the right size so I'm not trying to get a gallon into a pint pot :)

Hi Diane,
Just wondering if you got any in the end and if they are any good?  Just curious as I've heard them recommended several times since you started this topic!

Just bought a couple of m and s secret support vests they seem to work better on me than the magic knickers I dont end up with extra lumps under my boobs.
- By Lokis mum [gb] Date 30.01.10 16:01 UTC
I too like the M & S support vests :)

Yes!! I bought Gok's Pull me in pants. I have tried them on with "the outfit" and yes, they really do what they say on the tin. I was expecting to take hours to get them on and off...............but no.They are comfortable, dont roll down and I would recommend them.

If you want to see the full result look out for me at Crufts!

Glad they work, hmmmm....tempting me to invest!  I find this 'control' underwear highly addictive, I'll get a shock if I ever stop wearing them!!!
- By Wirelincs [gb] Date 31.01.10 12:01 UTC
I felt terribly "insecure" when I took them off!

I wear light support tights , and if i ever have a tight 'emergency' and have to wear normal tights i feel the same way !

I spotted the M&S tummy control vest last week and i think i will see if it stops the muffin top over my jeans waist band .
