had  a litter over 3 weeks ago, she had 9 pups we are down to 4 pup's now, 3 are doing great putting on weightall over 2lb in weight there running about quite the thing, the 4th is under 1lb had her to the vets he said that she is healthy she is very very small compared to the other 3,she constantly has a large and bursting to the seems belly, she has been wormed, is being fed on raw steak mince and lactol which she loves, she is not 100% sure on  her feet yet, she looks like a chihuahua, today i noticed she has not poo'd yet as im still pooing her peeing her, does anyone have any ideas why she is not thriving like the rest she still fits in the palm of my hand, what can i give her to help her poo? mnay thanks for your time

water will help i had this problem ,my pups are nearly 6weeks old now and 1 of these didnt poo much so i gave water in a syringe 4times aday just a small amount ,when mine got to 4weeks old they were laping themselfs.

went to vets this evening he xrayed her to make sure it was not gas in her stomach, he gave me some laxatine to help pass her wee poo's.

Hi Dipdipdaisy

I had a similar problem with one of the puppies and funny enough I found the problem with him was it was because he didn't want to poo in the whelping box.

Once I started to put him out on the grass, he started to poo regularly.
