a friend is sending a pup from sweden to australia, and has been told that it will go via heathrow, and have 29 hours stop having been taken out of its crate at heathrow and kenneled for this 29 hour period, it will then be put back in the cate, re sealed and sent the remainder. I doubt that this is possible without a full pet passport but maybe im wrong?? Anyone know??

Don't know for definate but I would have thought as long as it stayed 'flight side' it wouldn't need a passport. With dogs coming in for quarentine the rules dont start until they go from 'flight side' into 'this country'.

Heathrow is an official quarantine so I would have thought it would be fine as long as the crate is re-sealed.

I was just about to say the same, before customs in not really the UK - only when they cross through.
