I have started to get e-mail from a site called dogtrain.co.uk - various addresses - I was pretty sure that I hadn't signed up for advertising from anything like this - the only stuff I get is from a couple of sites I have bought books and bits and bobs from.  I looked at my spam folder and realised that I had a lot more there too.   I opened one today and was shocked to see swearing - it was obviously malicous and I was wondering how they have targetted it me for something that I am interested in - I try to keep my e-mail hidden at all times.  I wonder what site has given away my e-mail address?

Are you sure that you haven't picked up an email worm?

I did about 18 months ago, and it wasn't just swearing, it was disgusting.

What is an e-mail worm - haven't heard of that? Shouldn't AVG pick that up?

AVG didn't pick mine up!  And I'm not using the free version!

Hmmmm... dogtrain.co.uk seems to go to a fairly decent site.... I'd say it's some kind of a new spam/virus.

I haven't checked in case I pick up something, but I agree if it's the site I think it is, it's Sarah Whitehead dog training. I don't know how these things work, but is it possible if someone doesn't like her, they've set up a horrid email thing in that name? There are idiots who would do that i'm sure, just to upset people.

Yes I found that Lindsay but I have never put my e-mail to that site - I don't know where the spammers have got it from.  You can't see mine on this site - not sure about the agility forum - will have to check.  How did they know I was interested in dogs I wonder?

Weird isn't it? I don't know enough about computers or viruses to guess even! Hope you get it sorted :)
