My bitch had her litter on Thursday, her 1st litter she is nearly 3 years old.

Her whelping box is in our room, we have been sat on the floor with her since she had them, this morning (sat) she came out of her whelping box with a pup and dropped it on my lap, and has done it a couple of times since, is this normal behaviour or could this mean there is a problem?

just want to say congrats on the same arrivel :) ...the only time ive known this is when mums not happy? could be that your sat there all the time or shes not enclosed enough? how many did she have ? xx
