Any body out there know of a vets in the bristol area that does premate tests and doesnt charge the earth ,a bitch that is coming to my boy needs doing before they bring her one vet quoted £65 , i will have her done when she is here but we need a yard stick to work from and my vet only charges £25.

I use Idexx labs, vet takes the blood, I send it out special delivery they ring with results next day on the number you provide - very good service

i use idexx to £24.plus the vet may charge for taking the blood to,
have use idexx for the pass 7 years with good results.

our vet does pre mate tests, 1st test is £25 and the more you have they get cheaper, you get the results in a couple of hours. have heard Idexx is brilliant too.

I was charged £70 for three tests using the in-house premate kits (not the quantitative lab tests, but the colour comparison ones), this was in 2006.
