In case someone doesn't know yet, here are the plans for LKA this year
http://www.dogworld.co.uk/News/48-LKAExhibitors can find the start time for their breed in the dog press. - great if you don't or can't get the relevant papers

Anyone received LKA tickets yet? or are we just supposed to take the printout from online entry? Last time I went I entered by snail mail

I think if you entered online you have to print them off online, thats what I've done.

I did mine online, had the tickets through the post for about 2 weeks.

Fron the downloaded passes and proposed order of judging it says:
Sat 12th December : All rings start at 9.30 am unless otherwise stated.
Ring 5 Hall 2 Bedlington Terriers ( no otherwise stated time) so looks like 9.30 for you.
West Car Park only in use
All classified Terrier breeds enter by Gate2.3
Any help?

Panic over - It worked ona cup and paste but not when typed in

not sure why but then the keyboars never been the same since the ginger beer incident !
It's our first year at LKA, how early do you recommend getting there on Saturday. We have Junior handling in ring 19 at 8.30am but may have to withdraw at the last minute due to the breed class being at 9.30 in ring 10 (we'll be first in)
Are you allowed to leave after your class? well after a little retail therapy.... Any hints and tips would be appreciated

I always tried to get into the halls at least an hour before judging to get settled etc. Allow a good 20 minutes from car park to hall. You can leave after your class but don't go if you've won (which is what I did with my first pup) Only other suggestion is don't forget the plastic!

I like to allow an hour before the class at least, that way I've got some leeway with traffic etc. ;) the way I see it once you've arrived you can always rest up/let the dogs stretch their legs if it isn't raining, before going in. OH usually has a sleep - can sleep anywhere anytime tho ;)
Thank you, it was factoring in time to get from the car park that I was wondering, looks like might need to aim earlier than I thought. Thankfully we don't live that far away.
If both rings are in hall 2, would we need much time between rings at 9.30 in the morning?

Sorry, there's no way of knowing until you're there. It's like asking how long is a piece of string! LOL

The dog press is the weekly dog newspapers or you can go on to the Higham Press website as they have each breed entry numbers on there.

Another ticket question for LKA... My daughter wants to take her friend along for company. I have my Exhibitor and additional pass (due to partnership of dog) but will I need to get another ticket for other teenage friend and will she have to enter through public entrance rather than the dog entrance? I'm a bit concerned about sending her off on her own

Does anyone have any idea when AVNSC gundog are due in or which paper the times are in?
> Does anyone have any idea when AVNSC gundog are due in or which paper the times are in?
According to my information sheet, the Gundog AVNSC is in ring 42, hall 2 at 9am followed by th Import register.

OMG, didn't think it would be that early a start agggghhhh!!!
