Topic Dog Boards / Behaviour / messing in the house suddenly

For those of you who dont know, sadie is 3yrs old and a GSD. She was spayed 4wks ish ago.

Last weekend there was a tiny mess in the bathroom that had been done whilst i was out..i assumed it was the cat as it was so tiny so cleaned it up and left it at that.
Last night there was another mess in the bathroom (very big and solid so obviously sadie) and also a mess in the kitchen.

She is absolutely fine in herself and the poo's were like logs..her routine is as it always is.

She has not messed in the house since she was 5 months old..she is a VERY clean girl normally thats why im putting this down to behaviour rather than her just being desperate to go.

The only thing i can think of is that my OH works away during the week and comes home at weekends and this ties in with when she messes.
She doesnt have any priviliges or such taken away when he is here and he has very little to do with either of the dogs so im not sure whether its related or just coincidence

Any input/advice welcomed

with the weather changing suddenly is she getting the same amount of toilets ? I find in the summer the back of the house is open and they can come and go as they please but during the winter door closed so you have to make sure you have a good routine and that she def goes when she is let out and dont let her back in until she does.

Here's my suggestions, well if he needs the toilet dogs will go wild around the house , or maybe he just needs to chew.. does he have toys to play and chew?

Hi sorry for not updating sooner...she had an infection in her internal stitches from her spay. She was in pain and the messing and strange behaviours was her way of showing it i believe:(
She has finished her AB's and is absolutely fine now.
